July 2007 - rehearsal & perfomance of The Final Hour - a short play written by Dorian Mode for the Central Coast version of short & Sweet
July 2007 - working with the JustShorts film group for the Shootout film festival - Newcastle

Nov 2006 The 1st meeting of the JustShorts film group www.justshorts.info I started this group to give young people in Newcastle a vehicle to make short films instead of just talking about them.

Nov 2006- Short & Sweet has accepted a monologue I wrote some year ago to be included as a wild card. I'll go down to Sydney in Feb to perform

Oct 2006 - Life in Maitland Gaol can't have been much fun. I spent 2 days there filming a couple of episodes of Home & Away - it's a pretty stark environment.

Oct 2006 - a couple of long days shooting Lucky Boy for Sydney Film School, at least I didn't get buried up to my neck at the beach like my two fellow actors
Sept 2006 - Attended the Newcastle Premiere of Suburban Mayhem, I got left on the cutting room floor - never mind it's a unique view of suburbia and hopefully it will do well at the IF awards

Sept 2006 - making a doco on the lockout at Rothbury in the 1920's. A great story and a lot of fun - it's always good to work with an enthusiastic and organised group. We actually met and listened to one of the miners involved in the original battle

Sept 2006 - Conflict resolution work with a Melbourne based company, great improv exercise and hopefully the start of a lot more of this sort of work
Sept 2006 - Spent 3 days on the set of To catch a killer - the Joanne Lees Story. I originally auditioned for the role of the judge but ended up with an extra role as part of the legal team of Rex wild (Bryan Brown) - it was certainly interesting watching Bryan, Asher Keddie & Tom Long film the scenes needed for the investigation of the case. I was asked back for another 3 days for the courtroom scene but I had other work booked - never mind!

Sept 2006 - Showtime movie news with Nell Schofield just aired discussing Suburban Mayhem and included an interview with...me (along with a few other people)
August 2006 - Had an actress pull out at the last minute so only one play went on for Replay but Celine Dion was very well received and certainly affected the audience, it's a real thrill to rehearse and perform a piece like this

July 2006 - photo shoot for Newcastle Tourist Bureau - standing on the beach and pretending it's summer isn't much fun at all.
July 2006 - Just completed a shoot for NSW dept of Sport & Rec. the 30 sec TVC is about spectator rage and will be shown on free to air in NSW and at major sporting events.

July 2006 - Both Alex Broun plays that were performed for Club night in June have been chosen for Replay and there will be 3 public performances in August, I'm just lining up a replacement actress for one of the plays and rehearsals should start in a week or so
June 2006 - Documentary on religion for SuriFilms. I acted as narrator between various video clips of Australian religious leaders talking about their beliefs. This is the introductory documentary to a series of 8 looking at a scientific theory on the ultimate cause of the universe.

June 2006 - Training video for Newcastle Uni Architecture students that will from the basis of web based training

June 2006 - Late night shoot for a Foxtel commercial promoting channel 500 - Sports Selector. It was good fun and hopefully it will turn out well

June 2006 - club night for Newcastle Repertory. directed First Fireworks and directed & appeared in Celine Dion Songbook - both short plays are by Alex Broun and Alex was kind enough to come up to Newcastle to watch the show and talk to members about writing short plays.

May 2006 - Rehearsing both Alex Broun plays for Newcastle Repertory and working on Beachcomber - a pilot episode of a Sitcom series for consideration by major networks - we've got some interesting people on board - Peter Fenton, Mark Cuffe et al so it's fingers crossed!

April 2006 - Short film - Love is a balloon - great to work with a terrific crew from Sydney Film School, they had professional attitude and all worked hard

Mar 2006 - Initial reading for 2 Alex Broun short plays I'm directing for Newcastle Repertory in June. Alex will be coming up to watch the performances and give a talk about Short & Sweet and short play writing to Newcastle Uni students and Repertory members.

Mar 2006 - The Misanthrope opens to less than average crowds. It might be a good show but without good marketing ...
