I don't profess to be a full-time gaffer & I don't have a lighting truck. What I do have is a reasonable selection of kit and 30 years of experience on set in a variety of roles.

 

Over the last 5 years I've invested in gear as I wound down my video business and now I'm semi-retired and enjoy working for local production companies lke OOTS, RollingBall, Mike Garrick et al. 

 

Here's some of the TVC's I worked on as gaffer, I've just finished lighting a feature in Newcastle and happy to look at any job as long as it's local to Newcastle, Hunter Valley or Central Coast.

 

My day rate is $750+gst

Half-day $400+gst

which includes me, a van full of lighting & grip and an assistant to do the heavy lifting
